The Coffeeguy and his Breakfast

A Coffeeman is a person who owns a Coffeehouse or is a person who makes coffee in an establishment or on a ship. Now, I don’t know anything about coffee except the fact that Starbucks would cost more than my soul if it got sold to the devil but I do have a friend who does know about coffee and even started a small coffee stand. Brandon from class PF2342 just like you and me, sat down to have breakfast while drinking his normal dose of coffee when a sudden thought floated across his mind. “Wouldn’t it be funny if I started a Coffee stand in school?” This singular thought which had run across his mind started his coffee stand called Coffeeguy which would soon become a routine in Brandon’s school life.

Making coffee or progress?

Having thought of how to make certain drinks by himself such as whipped coffee and with some basic knowledge, he set up his stand, which basically consists of his equipment laid out on a table. “The whole coffee stall thing was meant to be a surprise and stuff to my classmates lol so I figured the lecture theatre was the best place since everyone was gonna be inside it and you wouldn’t know there’s a whole coffee operation going down there unless you open the door” With Brandon arriving half an hour early for school to set up Coffeeguy and to get orders, he is of course met with challenges such as space and time constraints. Additionally, he has struggles in having variety in his coffee-stand menu. “I can only make so much with Milk, Coffee powder and water” Yet despite these initial set-backs, he still makes sure that he makes good and free coffee wanting to spread the love for his coffee. His regulars being his classmates who go all out to support Brandon and his coffee.

Future plans or an Invasion?

Now you may think this alone is a huge feat for him, however Brandon has other plans in wanting to spread his free-of-charge Coffee. He plans to start a business in the Library’s Café Stand, Coffeeman. His second idea, is setting up Coffeeguy in any one of the Polytechnics in Singapore aside from Nanyang on selected days, once per week. That’s right, setting up shop in other Polytechnics. Knowing Brandon’s determination, I wouldn’t be surprised if these future “plans” become another norm for him in his school life. Enough of me talking about his coffee, it’s time for you to try it yourself. Look out for his pop-up stall – usually at Block P or approach him to find out more.
